The International Sound Therapy Association is delighted to announce our 20th Anniversary Conference, taking place October 2nd through October 5, 2026 in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia. This special milestone marks two decades of bringing together practitioners, educators, researchers, and enthusiasts who share a passion for the healing power of sound.

To celebrate this anniversary, the conference is expanding to three full days plus an exciting fourth full day of workshop opportunities , creating more space for workshops, learning experiences, listening lounges, performances, and meaningful networking opportunities. As sound therapy continues to gain recognition as an effective modality for healing, nervous system regulation, and stress management, this gathering will highlight the latest research, evolving techniques, and emerging innovations shaping the future of the field.

Keynote Speaker

We are honored to welcome Dr. John Beaulieu, N.D., Ph.D. as our keynote speaker.

Dr. Beaulieu is a composer, naturopathic physician, counseling psychologist, and internationally respected pioneer in the field of sound healing. He is the founder of BioSonic Enterprises and the creator of the BioSonic Repatterning method, a therapeutic system that uses tuning forks and harmonic principles found in nature to support healing and consciousness development. He is also the author of Human Tuning and Music and Sound in the Healing Arts, and has spent more than four decades researching the relationship between sound, physiology, and wellbeing. His work has played an important role in bringing greater scientific awareness and credibility to the field of therapeutic sound.

Mission Statement

The International Sound Therapy Association’s purpose is to promote the benefits of therapeutic sound by providing an educational forum and activities for sound therapists, musicians, healing arts practitioners, and the general public.

ISTA provides a local forum for the dissemination and sharing of leading edge educational information and research on sound therapy modalities and new ways to use ancient therapies, in order to advance the understanding of the therapeutic benefits of music, sound and vibration.
