“When considering the efficacy, music intervention seemed to offer clear advantages for adults with primary insomnia. Listening to music and music-associated relaxation are probably the best options to consider in the application of music intervention…Music intervention for primary insomnia treatment is effective with large overall effects on PSQI score, overall sleep quality, sleep onset latency and sleep efficiency. During clinical care of patients with primary insomnia, application of music would be a first-line and non-pharmacological intervention.”
